Pomandère Spring/Summer 2026: Dreamy Saloon

The new Pomandère SS26 collection draws on a cinematic imagination where dust meets poetry, evoking the raw yet luminous allure of the Wild West. Dreamy Saloon unfolds as a journey into western atmospheres: the vibrant energy of rodeos, the hushed stillness of wooden houses nestled in the Rocky Mountains, and the vastness of a desert that becomes an inner landscape.

At the heart of this narrative, a woman on horseback crosses the arid horizon. Her hair dances in the wind, her silhouette stands tall as a symbol of freedom. She is authentic, untamed, combining grace and strength—a contemporary heroine who, like the land beneath her, knows no compromise.

Color defines the soul of the collection envisioned by Carlo Zanuso. Natural shades of brown and chalk are layered with luminous whites and off-whites. Vibrant accents of fiery orange, sulphur-indigo and powder blue bring freshness, while botanical greens — olive, aloe and wasabi — intertwine with vivid yellow and the sulphurous touch of “savana.” Midnight blue meets electric blue, softened by ivory tones, malva pinks and raspberry nuances that strike a balance between strength and delicacy.

Fabric research, always the beating heart of Pomandère, expands this season through a multiplicity of textures and finishes that echo the imperfect beauty of the wild. Cotton is offered in countless variations: poplin in solid shades, patchwork, and contrast piping for shirting; embroidered voile and crêpe gauze with a romantic spirit; and a dégradé print inspired by horse coats, hand-painted for artisanal uniqueness. Cotton-silk chiffon with bold stripes and ultra-light madras reinterpret country shirting with a feminine, airy touch.

Striped viscose-cotton-silk shantung enhances more elegant pieces, while a silk-cotton blend—garment-dyed for a lived-in yet luminous effect—offers a subtle sophistication. Sun- faded cotton gabardine and panama evoke desert landscapes, while linen in multiple weights shapes a versatile and complete wardrobe. Linen-viscose, fluid and refined, is enriched with dip-dyed dégradé effects. Transitional fabrics such as TENCELTM drill and cotton-wool flannel extend the collection into milder seasons.

Denim takes on innovative treatments: carbon denim with white weft is laser-abraded and decorated with raised floral motifs, while bull denim—dyed with an exclusive indigo- sulphur technique—achieves deep mineral contrasts and chromatic richness.

Knitwear brings comfort and femininity to the wardrobe with artisanal details. Cotton- linen, airy and fresh, recalls cactus textures with its irregular surfaces and micro fringes; lustrous cotton updates everyday essentials. Indigo-sulphur cotton adds depth to ribbed knits, while alpaca-cotton provides a soft, summery feel in ocean and apricot shades. Handcrafted tie-dye alpaca-wool renders each piece unique, its artisanal gradients of pink, brown and yellow celebrating individuality.

Details embody the collection’s poetic core: vintage-inspired embroidery evokes the fabric of old saloons, while vichy checks and madras capture the carefree spirit of rodeos. Flowing dresses, unstructured jackets and striated surfaces recall the ribs of cacti, translating the wilderness into tactile elegance. Every garment carries the breath of wind and the memory of dust.

With Dreamy Saloon, Pomandère crafts a narrative where folk sensibility meets femininity, where nature intertwines with western imagination. A collection that, like the woman who wears it, is free, resilient, at once romantic and untamed. Fashion that holds the poetry of the landscape, transforming the frontier into an intimate, contemporary and timeless dimension.
