Pomandère Autumn – Winter 2026/27, Wandering Soul

For the Autumn–Winter 2026/27 season, Pomandère presents “Wandering Soul”, a collection that explores travel as an inner state, a silent tension toward new horizons. It portrays an independent and courageous woman, guided by instinct and a deep desire for freedom, able to inhabit the world with natural ease and determination. Two iconic figures run through the narrative of the collection, according to the vision of Carlo Zanuso: the sailor, with his raw and concrete essentiality, and the aviator, a symbol of audacity and vision. Two complementary souls that shape a wardrobe defined by balance, strength, and lightness, where sartorial heritage meets a contemporary and conscious attitude.

The colour palette unfolds from a refined range of blues, deep and natural, enriched by ebony browns and warm gianduia reflections, creating a play of measured and sophisticated contrasts. Shades of green dialogue with natural tones of butter and cream, moving from vanilla to olive, through to avocado and emerald, with khaki acting as a unifying thread. Completing the palette are more intense and feminine notes of burgundy, mauve, and powder pink, adding depth and sensuality to the collection.

Fabrics take centre stage, expressing a thoughtful and sophisticated material research. Shirting is enriched with thematic striped poplins, cotton and wool flannels, textured cottons, and felted-effect wool/cotton checks. Silk confirms its central role, offered in voile and cotton/silk habutai, extending to the most precious proposals in silk/linen shantung, also striped, and pure silk twill, conveying a rich and refined femininity.

The trouser offering explores new textures and washes: délavé cotton/tencel bull, cotton corduroy, drill, and a washed cotton/wool gabardine inspired by the rigorous elegance of Japanese fabrics. Outerwear stands out for its refined materials and contemporary constructions, from wool knit fabric jackets that reinterpret sartorial tradition through a deconstructed lens, to wool and cashmere coats, and feminine bouclé in pure virgin wool. The most thematic styles introduce eco-leather, technical water-repellent trench cotton, and a distinctive blue overdyed wool cloth.

Knitwear, a defining element of Pomandère’s identity, is characterised by the use of pure materials and a carefully balanced range of weights and volumes. The new 100% garment-dyed wool, gauge 18 with fully fashioned construction, offers versatile and lightweight pieces ideal for the start of the season. Alpaca-wool blends introduce more thematic volumes, with vanisé workmanship adding chromatic depth and a three-dimensional effect. The wool-cashmere yarn, gauge 7, is expressed through essential and refined pieces designed for layering, while mohair appears in brushed and dropped English rib versions, distinguished by its soft hand and vibrant colours.

Experimentation continues with an original mix of bouclé wool and alpaca, leading to the warmest proposals in alpaca and wool with dropped cable stitches, where tradition and contemporaneity find a natural synthesis.

With “Wandering Soul”, Pomandère creates an essential and profound wardrobe that accompanies women on a journey of freedom and awareness, transforming travel into an intimate, authentic, everyday gesture.
